🛒 Ingredients (1 serving)
- 2g Matchaeco matcha powder 🌿
- 60g hot water (not boiling, about 70–80°C)
- 80–100g fresh strawberries (about 4–6 medium) 🍓
- 10–15g sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or sugar), to taste
- Ice 🧊
- 150–200g milk of choice (oat, dairy, almond, etc.) 🥛
👩🍳 Method
1️⃣ Prepare the Strawberries
Wash strawberries thoroughly and remove the green tops.
2️⃣ Make the Strawberry Purée
Add strawberries and sweetener to a blender.
Blend until smooth. Set aside.
3️⃣ Whisk the Matcha
Sift Matchaeco matcha into a bowl or cup to remove clumps.
Add hot water and whisk until smooth and lightly frothy 🌿
4️⃣ Fill Your Glass
Add a generous handful of ice to a tall glass 🧊
5️⃣ Add the Strawberry Layer
Pour the strawberry purée over the ice, filling the bottom of the glass.
6️⃣ Add the Milk
Pour in your milk of choice until the glass is about three-quarters full 🥛
7️⃣ Finish with Matcha
Slowly pour the whisked matcha over the milk to create a beautiful layered effect ✨
8️⃣ Stir & Enjoy
Give it a gentle stir before drinking and enjoy immediately 🍓🍵
